FBLAFuture Business Leaders Of America
I was first introduced to FBLA my sophomore year because of my older sister who was a member of this club. I competed my sophomore & junior year at the central section conferences, although I did not place the first year as a member, the next year I was determined to place since my older siblings had placed before so my junior year I placed 8th in Accounting 2. FBLA was a club that taught me how to be more professional as well as determined to place, I am glad I joined this club FFA Future Farmers of America I was part of FFA for one year, (junior year) being in this club gave me more knowledge on animals. I learned more than I thought I would, I now know how to raise animals as well as how to cure them when they have health issues AVID Advancement Via Individual Determination Most of our class has been together for 3 years heading into our 4th year (senior year). We have lost many students as well as gained a few, I decided to stay because it helps me as a student. AVID has pushed me to get the best scores in all of my classes and to be organized. I am glad I was part of this club FOOTBALL I began playing football in 8th grade, I then went on to play high school football for 2 years. In these 2 years it taught me to be more determined, hardworking, and to never give up when times get rough. I enjoyed playing this sport because it is such a great experience, it was hard at times but overall it was a great to be part of the team. Spanish Honors Society I joined this club senior year because I finally had the chance to, it is an academic honor society focused on the Spanish language and heritage. REAP I have been part of this organization since 8th grade, I have the opportunity to get some scholarship money for college by getting good grades. |
