Junior Year
I am currently finishing my junior which means I have been through three years of high school so far and I have had many highs as well as many lows which have made high school a memorable place. Time definitely flew by but I am proud of what I am accomplished and hope to accomplish many more things in my final school year. One of the highs I experienced my junior year would have been meeting new teachers that can be very helpful next year when I am applying to get into colleges as well as going to my first prom with a friend of mine. However I have been through tough times, this year I made the decision to stop playing football for a few reasons but the one main reason I did was because I was stressed which playing a sport takes a huge amount of time from your daily schedule. It was hard at first because I was not going to practice but I knew I had made the right decision when I was not stressing about everything since I had so much more time to do all the things that I had to accomplish. As you can see it was hard to adjust my life to not playing sports yet it my opinion was a good decision due to the fact that I got to enjoy watching the football games from the stands with my friends and cheering on my old teammates. I am involved in FFA this year which stands for Future Farmers of America and the biggest club at Lindsay high school which is FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). This was my second year in FBLA and my first in FFA, therefore my accomplishment is that I placed 8th in accounting 2 at the central section conference. I do plan on attending college once I graduate from high school because I want to get a good education and after that have a great paying job and that I enjoy doing. I see myself in the business field and I hope that I can get where I am making a huge amount of money, something that I am taking into consideration is starting my own business/ product. I anticipate the rest of my high school experience to be very stressful although I hope it is not I believe it will. I want to finish this school year strong by getting the best scores possible as well as make the most of my year because high school is almost coming to an end soon. I hope that I have a better idea on which college/universities I want to attend because at this point I am not sure which one I want to go to, so during the summer I will do some research because in the fall I will be submitting those applications. Although some of the past seniors have said that junior year is the hardest year out of all four, I handled it well and got my things done. I know it is going to be a lot of work next year because of college so I need to stay focused and do not slack off on due dates.
